The last bit of Croatia still had surprises!
We thought Italy might be the home of hill cities.... But Croatia has them too!
And we thought we had seen Old Cities, but one more was worth seeing.Vrbnik is an old city which still seems very old. Lonely Planet says it hasn't been corrupted by tourism. We felt the same - it seems very authentic while still having tourist comforts - like the little wine bar tucked into an old shop front.
We wandered the streets and found many delightful scenes. The old houses are still occupied.
And just a couple of stray pics from Croatia before we pass through Slovenia to Italy tomorrow.
